About Duchwar Boxers I married in 1965 and soon started a family.  When our youngest was one year old, we were given a male Boxer.  He was just a pet.  In 1971, we purchased our first female, Dutchess of Armaduke.  She was 2 years old and luck would have it, she had many of the great dogs in her pedigree.  Approximately in 1975, we had the opportunity to purchase, AKC Champion Alpombos Ruf N Ready Warrior and that was the start of Duchwar Boxers.  Since then we have tried to improve the quality of the Boxer.  Right away we bred Patricia's Pretty Girl Spring to Warrior and there were 2 AKC Champions that finished out of that litter, and others were pointed.  We met some of the great handlers along the way and I learned a lot from them.  We also met some wonderful breeders that were very helpful.  It's been a great adventure  - and still is.  We still show from time to time and we still breed with our great stud dogs and have a litter of puppies once in a while.    © 2011 Duchwar Boxers All Rights Reserved.
